The Insolvency Service publishes the names and addresses of everyone granted a Debt Relief Order—information that could allow an abuser to track them down.
There is a way to protect survivors: applying for a Person at Risk of Violence (PARV) Court Order, which keeps personal details off the public register. But the cost—£308—is simply unaffordable for many.
